Goshen College’s Homecoming weekend is October 7-9, 2011. As part of the weekend, they are having an Alumni Ultimate game. If you’re an alumni and interested in attending, you can sign-up at their webpage:

Last chance to sign-up for summer league 2011 to make sure you get a jersey!
Summer league starts tomorrow (Tuesday, May 24, 2011). We’ll be dividing the teams tomorrow night and putting in the jersey order first thing on Wednesday morning. So, sign-up online before games tomorrow – or show up at Oxbow County Park tomorrow at 6:30 so we can get you registered manually.
If you don’t get registered by tomorrow, you are still welcome to sign-up and play in GUSL, but we don’t know if we will make a second jersey order. So, sign-up now (and encourage your friends to sign-up).

Thank you for your interest in Goshen Ultimate Summer League! We hope to build on last year’s success and have another fun and competitive co-ed league.
We’re very excited about GUSL Season 3. The league registration is up and running and we have several people already signed up. Please spread the word to all of your friends and encourage them to sign-up as well. If you haven’t already signed up, the sooner, the better. Games will be on Tuesday nights at Oxbow County Park starting at 6:30 every week. There will be a league kick-off pickup night on May 24 at 6:30 PM with official games starting on the 31st. The league will go through August 2 with an all-day tournament on Sunday, August 7.
GUSL will also be hosting 2 clinics. On May 17th, GUSL will host a Women’s Clinic and June 11th, we will host a Newcomer’s clinic. Both clinics are free to attend, and you do not have to participate in the summer league to attend.
The Women’s Clinic will be at 6:30 at Oxbow County Park and is open to any women who want to attend. It will be geared towards new players, but all skill levels are welcome. Women who attend will receive $5 off their summer league registration if they play in the league. Women, if you haven’t played Ultimate before, this is a great chance to be introduced to the sport before summer league starts!
The Newcomer’s Clinic is open to any players. This clinic will be held at Oxbow County Park from 1-4pm (snacks will be provided). This will be a chance to ask questions and get one-on-one instruction after having attended a week of two or playing.
Cost $40 – non-student/$30 student
Registration cost does not include separate entrance fee charged by Oxbow County Park. We encourage you to carpool and/or buy a season pass to the park. Oxbow has been very welcoming to us, and we appreciate the use of their fields and facilities.
The registration cost includes a shirt and a disc.

The league will start on Tuesday, May 18th with a night of pick-up Ultimate. This will allow the captains to get an idea of the skill level for new players. We will divide the teams up after the games on the 18th, then order the jerseys first thing on Wednesday, May 19th. That means that May 18th is the last day to register and be guaranteed a jersey and disc. The following week (May 25) you will play with your summer league team.
Like last year, the league will be Tuesday nights at Ox Bow County Park. Games will start at 6:30 (try to be there by 6:15 so we can get started on time). We generally play 3 games to 7 (against the same team each week). And we end up playing until dusk most weeks.
The final week of league play will be August 3rd. Following that, we will have a one day tournament on Sunday, August 8th.
